Gooney Bird Daisy Chain with 12oz Bullet Head Stinger
A Gooney Bird Daisy Chain is a set-up made up
with 3 7" Gooney Birds and a Stinger. Jet Heads, TC Machines or a
12oz. Bullet Head are used for the stinger. Stingers are each rigged
with a Stainless Mustad 7691 hook. The Gooney Birds are attached to
480lb. Poly covered cable with swivel sleeves and a Pro-Fish snap
swivel is added at the end for attaching the stinger.
Troll this from a flat line or long rigger and the results will speak for them self. Best speed is from 2 to 5.5 knots. If trolling at higher speeds pin the line down to the transom.
