While conventional methods of cleaning (such as mechanical brushing or harsh acids) do have some success, they are harmful to both the user and the environment & can easily damage the equipment or vessel. How does this work? 1)Close the seacock's on your boat and remove the hoses. 2)Put the concentrate into a 5 gallon clean bucket with water using the ratio's supplied. 3)Put the hoses you removed into the water & Barnacle Buster mix bucket. 4)Start your engines until all of the water in the mix bucket is gone and shut the engines down to prevent them from overheating. Do one engine at a time. Let the mixture sit for 6-20 hours.  5)Put the hoses back on the seacock's and make sure the clamps are tight. Start both engines and let them run for 5-10 minutes to flush the engines.
